In today's mobile phone market, PDA phone are not as widely marketed as the main stream hand sets. This is because; PDA phones are specially designed for hardcore business purposes. HTC is the biggest mobile phone company that produces the business utility mobile phone. Recently, the company has launched its new PDA phone that is HTC Touch. This phone is a smart phone with navigation technology called touch screen. This feature allows you to operate the whole phone with just a touch of your finger.
Here the question arise that whether this feature is enough to make this phone a market leader. This touch screen feature is available in I-Mate K-JAM as well. This is also a PDA phone. But as compare to HTC Touch, this is a bulky phone with dimensions 108 x 58 x 23.7 and the weight of this phone is 160 grams. On the other hand, dimensions of HTC Touch are 99.9 x 58 x 13.9mm along with a weight of just 112 grams.
HTC Touch has a wide 2.8 inches of wide TFT screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It also has a handwriting recognition feature that gives you freedom to write your mails and messages easily. To make this phone more user friendly, the company has also put a 5-way navigation feature to the screen. However, I-Mate K-JAM does not have 5 way navigation and handwriting recognition feature in it.
Additionally, HTC Touch also has an integrated 2 mega pixel powerful camera. This camera also records the video and gives you the crystal clear images with the resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. Along with this powerful camera this phone also has some other attractive features like GPRS, EDGE, and Bluetooth and USB connectivity. With Bluetooth feature, you can easily share any data with any other Bluetooth enabled device. You can also operate all your office documents on this phone as it has a whole Microsoft sync in it. On the other hand I-Mate K-JAM has an ordinary 1.3 mega pixel camera that gives the quality of 1280 x 960 pixels.
So, you can say that the HTC Touch is much better business utility phone than I-Mate K-JAM.
